REGISTER ELECTRONIC TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS TO USE THE VSSID APPLICATION – DIGITAL SOCIAL INSURANCE

The purpose of “VssID – Digital Social Insurance”, an application on a mobile device platform, is towards integrating utilities including electronic health insurance cards, social insurance books, which help participants of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance to access information, perform public services, step by step replacing the social insurance books and health insurance cards.

To log in and use the application, users need to register a personal electronic transaction account with the social insurance agency and download the VssID – Digital Social Insurance.

Users need to follow the instructions below:

Log in to the website https://dichvucong.baohiemxahoi.gov.vn

• • Click “Register” and select “Individual” and then click “Next” to see “Declaration” 
  • Upload photo: 

• • • • Portrait (size 4×6)
      • Photo of ID card/Passport: front and back 
    • Full in the required information: 
      • Full name
      • Social insurance number (the last 10 digits on the health insurance card) 
      • ID card/Passport number
      • Address
      • Contact
      • E-mail
      • Mobile number
    • Click the “SELECT” button to select the social insurance agency to receive the registration: 
      • [079] City Social Insurance. Ho Chi Minh  
        • [07911] Social Insurance District 3
          
        • Click the “Select” button

                Note: 

• • • In case the user registers an account and submits the declaration to the company, then select the social insurance agency to receive the registration based on the social insurance agency of the company (Select the social insurance agency corresponding to the address of the company is located).
      
    • In case the user is an individual, register and submit the declaration directly to the social insurance agency, choose the closest social insurance agency in the area.
    • Finally, click the “Submit” button: the Declaration file will be exported, the user will print the declaration, sign and submit it to the Department in charge of the Company (usually the HR department) to summarize and submit to the insurance agency (as selected above) for approval and activation (the activation code and password are sent to the mobile number as registered).
      
    • Download VssID – The digital social insurance application
      • Go to the Google Play (for Android users) or AppStore (for iOS users), search for “VssID”;
        
      • Select the VssID application (the LOGO of the social insurance industry, blue color);
        
      • Select “Install”.
        
    • After receiving the activation code and password in the message from the Vietnam Social Security, the user can log in to the VssID application to view the process of participating in social insurance, health insurance and other utilities.
